Tease Me Once, Shame On You. Tease Me Twice, Shame On Me.

Here is the first 45 seconds or so of a little music video project I'm doing for some friends. They're in a band called Hello Helicopter (not my favorite band name either... no offense guys... well, yes... actually yes, take offense).

They were taking the step into the Provo big leagues by playing at Velour. Bravo, bravo.

I was a bit displeased with the angles I was given to film them with. The stage was higher than I would have preferred, and the sound wasn't capturing how I would have anticipated it to.

This being said, I was really pleased with a lot of the footage I got. I loved the lighting of the band on stage, and I think the tones are really quite nice and varied.

I mentioned the sound issues. Yeah, it's a bitch. So because we don't have a great master recording as of yet, I mixed this video to MIA's Paper Planes Remix.

Without further ado, enjoy... and then bow to your sensei!

UPDATE: I improved the video. I wasn't too pleased with the pacing and aesthetics of a couple of the edits. So I improved it. I know you'll agree. Check out the improvements below, and I encourage you to compare. You'll spot the parts I wasn't too pleased with.
